Lisette graduated as an occupational therapist in 1999 with a specialty in brain injury and chronical pain. She worked with adults in a rehabilitation setting and was a consultant within a health care organization.

She worked as a lecturer at the University of Applied science in Rotterdam where she teaches different areas of OT. Coaching of young adults was one of her main tasks. She worked international and presented at different congresses. She believes that empowerment and meaningful occupation is important for everybody.

Lisette provides OT services for young adults in The Hague and Rotterdam with the main focus on executive functions. She works with the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and gives workshop to teachers and other professionals about different topics which are OT related.
