Brain Freeze Group

Brain Freeze, is something everyone experiences, for example when you can’t remember the instruction from a teacher, the name or the word you need or recall a number while doing your math lesson.

 

This is linked to working memory, which is a basic cognitive process and is important for learning, planning and remembering everyday tasks. Most children with learning and attention issues have trouble with their working memory. Through the Jungle Memory program, games and activities children will learn how to increase these skills.

Group sessions are facilitated by English speaking therapists and tailored for your child’s needs.

 

Outcomes of the group

• Skills help to improve the working memory. For example: structure the working place, writing things down, etc.

• Strategies to improve the working memory and basic learning skills
