Eating is Fun Group

Eating is the only activity children do which involves all 7 senses. Making mealtimes a challenging task.

‘Eating is fun’, uses the evidence based SOS Approach to Feeding (Sequential Oral Sensory) to increase the acceptance of foods for children who are fussy eaters. The 8 week small group program, is facilitated in English by Occupational Therapists with experience with paediatric feeding difficulties.

Group outcomes:

  • To have positive interactions with food

  • Learn the cues to eating and meal time routines

  • Reduce discomfort to seeing, smelling, touching, tasting and swallowing food
