Emma Powell
Psychologist
Emma was born and raised in the United States, before moving to Canada and then the Netherlands. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Psychology at Radboud University in Nijmegen, and is currently finishing her master's degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology at Leiden University.
Emma has worked in many settings, from schools to childcare to therapy. She has worked with children from a variety of backgrounds and upbringings and enjoys collaborating with expat families to find solutions that fit their unique situation. She strives to tailor her approach to each child, connecting with their interests and strengths in order to create a safe and fun environment to support them in their growth.
When not at work, Emma enjoys reading, drinking coffee, and spending time in nature with family and friends. She speaks English and conversational Dutch and hopes to improve her level of Dutch to be able to offer treatment, as well as continue her education with a post-master's programme.
