"The best education does not happen at a desk, but rather engaged in everyday living - hands on, exploring, in active relationship with life"
I Feel, I Think Group
Our ‘Feeling is Thinking’ group focuses on supporting children who experience difficulties in their interpersonal relationships, and in expressing their strong feelings, anger, sadness and frustration.
This 8-week program aims to assist these children in identifying their anger triggers before they ‘explode’. Feeling is Thinking provides these children with appropriate, positive strategies to deal with conflict, and allows them to practise using such strategies in a safe environment.
For children to understand and explore the origins of their strong feelings
For children to feel more confident to express their feelings positively
To increase children’s assertive behaviours and problem-solving skills
To assist children to improve their social skills and relationships with others
For children to become familiar with a range of different feelings and emotions
Groups are offered based on the age of your child:
