Mindful Me Group

Mindfulness helps children develop self-awareness and their ability to manage their emotions and concentrate on difficult tasks. We teach children mindfulness as a life-skill to to use in their day-to-day activities. Children will learn techniques for stress relief and how to cope with everyday challenges. 


This group teaches techniques to manage their emotions when too excited or stressed. Your child will learn techniques to calm their body and mind. The topic’s depend on the age group.‘Mindful me’ group is facilitated by English speaking, Occupational Therapists. This weekly, 8 week program allows children to explore mindfulness
and yoga techniques to use during daily life. 


The outcomes of the group: 

  • Increases in concentration and abilities to pay attention

  • Enhanced self-awareness

  • Learning yoga and mindfulness techniques
